PCBwise, Inc. ("PCBwise," "we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our electronics manufacturing management platform and related services (the "Service").

By using the Service, you consent to the data practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, please do not access or use the Service.

1.1 Information You Provide

We collect information that you voluntarily provide when using our Service, including:

  • Account Information: Name, email address, company name, job title, phone number, and password when you create an account.
  • Business Information: Company address, billing information, tax identification numbers, and other business contact details.
  • Manufacturing Data: Bills of materials (BOMs), project specifications, vendor information, inventory records, quotes, purchase orders, and other operational data you upload or create.
  • Communications: Messages, support requests, and feedback you send to us.
  • Payment Information: Credit card numbers, billing addresses, and payment details processed through our third-party payment processors.

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

When you access our Service, we automatically collect certain information, including:

  • Device Information: Browser type, operating system, device identifiers, and IP address.
  • Usage Information: Pages viewed, features used, actions taken, timestamps, and session duration.

  • Business Partners: Information from vendors, suppliers, or business partners you work with through the platform.

  • Develop new features and improve existing functionality

Information you upload may be visible to other authorized users within your organization's account, as determined by your administrator's access control settings.


4. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as necessary to:

  • Provide the Service and maintain your account
  • Comply with legal obligations (including record-keeping requirements)
  • Resolve disputes and enforce our agreements
  • Support legitimate business operations

When you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within 90 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or regulatory purposes.

Manufacturing data, audit logs, and compliance records may be retained for longer periods as required by applicable regulations (e.g., ITAR record-keeping requirements).


5. Data Security

We implement industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including:

  • Encryption: Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest
  • Access Controls: Role-based access, multi-factor authentication, and principle of least privilege
  • Monitoring: Continuous security monitoring, intrusion detection, and audit logging
  • Infrastructure: Secure cloud infrastructure with SOC 2 compliant providers
  • Training: Regular security awareness training for our team

Despite our efforts, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. If you have reason to believe your interaction with us is no longer secure, please contact us immediately.

PCBwise is based in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate.

We take steps to ensure that international transfers of personal information comply with applicable data protection laws, including using Standard Contractual Clauses where required.


9. Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for children under 16 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete such information.


10. Third-Party Links and Services

The Service may contain links to third-party websites or integrate with third-party services. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those third parties. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party services you use.


11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by:

  • Posting the updated policy on our website
  • Updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy
  • Sending you an email notification (for significant changes)

Your continued use of the Service after any changes indicates your acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.

13. Additional Disclosures

13.1 California Residents

If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know what personal information we collect, request deletion, and opt out of the sale of personal information. As stated above, we do not sell personal information.

13.2 European Union Residents

If you are located in the European Union, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies to our processing of your personal data. The legal bases for our processing include:

  • Consent: Processing based on your explicit consent
  • Legal Obligation: Processing necessary to comply with applicable laws

You have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority if you believe we have violated your rights.

13.3 Export Control and ITAR

For customers subject to International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or other export control requirements, we implement additional safeguards including access controls, US Person verification, and audit logging. Please refer to your Service Agreement for details on compliance measures.
